PathoFinder offers a new generation of comprehensive molecular diagnostics for infectious diseases. Our proprietary multiparameter analysis technologies enable a rapid detection and identification of multiple human pathogens in clinical specimens.
With PathoFinder products, up to 25 pathogens [1] can be readily identified in a single, easy to perform assay. PathoFinder products save time, allow for automation and are very cost-effective, and thus address the three major aspects of introducing comprehensive molecular diagnostics in the daily clinical routine.
PathoFinder products are either based on our proprietary MultiFinderTM [2] or SmartFinderTM [2] technologies, or on RealTime PCR [2]. Our products are developed and produced in an ISO 13485:2003 [3] environment and are validated on all relevant QCMD panels to ensure optimal quality, sensitivity and specificity.
Since 2010, PathoFinder has a strategic partnership with Applied Biosystems [4] for the marketing and sales of our RespiFinder® 15 and RespiFinder® 19 kits in countries that accept the CE-IVD mark (except BeNeLux, France and Italy). More information can be found here [5].
